Northern Wis. Duck Hunting Season Starts Early
Duck hunting season gets underway a little earlier than usual in northern Wisconsin this weekend. It's the first year that the hunt begins at 9am Saturday instead of noon in the northern half of the state. The duck hunt is a week later in the southern half of the state. The DNR's Mark Andersen says every decent hunting spot -- and some not so decent spots -- will be occupied by 9:00 on Saturday morning. Andersen expects 350,000 to 400,000 ducks will be harvested this season....
